Gfinity (AIM: GFIN), a world-leading esports and gaming solutions provider, can announce Gfinity Digital Media (GDM) has been appointed by Amazon Games to deliver a launch campaign for the recently launched New World game.
New World is a massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Amazon Games for the PC, launched in September 2021.
New World pits players against the haunted wilderness of Aeternum, a mysterious supernatural island in the twilight of the Age of Exploration.
The four-week integrated marketing campaign, which began on 13th September 2021, consists of a custom video and editorial series which introduces the different playable factions (The Covenant, The Marauders and The Syndicate), looks back on the best moments from New World’s Beta gameplay and explains why New World is a game for all gamers.
The editorial content will be fed through Gfinity’s Discovery technology which is used to target specific gaming communities within the Group’s ecosystem, resulting in improved engagement metrics.
The bespoke video and editorial content will also be complemented by social amplification across GDM’s social network, which delivers 65 million impressions per month, as well as a social competition giveaway to help initiate online conversations.
The deal is the latest collaboration under Gfinity’s strategic pillar to strengthen the fast-growing GDM, improving the company’s ability to offer broader and more in-depth content to its audience, whilst enabling brands to engage with the gaming community.
