On 1 September 2008, Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s Abu Dhabi United Group agreed a £200m deal to take over Manchester City Football Club.
Gfinity’s Executive Chairman Garry Cook was CEO of the club at the time. He was instrumental in making the deal happen and then creating the vision for the Club moving forward. Garry was interviewed by the BBC this weekend and shed some light on a moment in time that has changed the face of football in this country and the world.
