A new challenge for fans of Splatoon 2 is on the way with the Splatoon 2 Inkfest UK Tournament 2021 series presented by Nintendo UK and Gfinity (a UK-leading tournament and gaming solutions provider). Tournament matches will take place online using Nintendo Switch across 12 weeks, kicking off on Saturday 25th September before culminating on Saturday 11th December 2021.
Registration for the Splatoon 2 Inkfest UK Tournament 2021 is now open via the Inkfest UK Tournament Hub, which will be the main hub for the latest information and where teams can sign-up to take part.
To enhance participants’ experience and overall competitiveness, the tournament will feature a cup-style format to be hosted every three weeks. Each Cup consists of Open Ladder tournaments taking place on each weekend of the first two weeks, where teams can play as many times as they wish to boost their rankings for a chance to qualify for the Cup final. There will be fame, glory and prizes on the line for the winners of each Cup.
Gfinity will act as the operation partner to deliver the Splatoon 2 Inkfest UK Tournament 2021 to players and fans, and will be aided by the Inkfest UK Tournament Hub which will feature the latest tournament news and interviews with players.
