Porsche24 Redline takes the lead in V10 R-League Standings at Brands Hatch

Action from the second round of the all-new V10 R-League – a joint venture between Gfinity and Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management (ADMM) – made Brands Hatch a winning circuit for Porsche24
Redline and the BMW Motorsport SIM Racing Team, as the skills of their sim racers in the bespoke V10 car gained them maximum points.

Competing on the leading sim racing game Assetto Corsa, all eight of the professional sim racing teams went head-to-head in three race challenges, across four ‘matches’.

This week’s ‘match ups’ pitched Williams Esports against YAS HEAT, with JAESA Team Suzuki versus BMW Motorsport SIM Racing Team, as Team Fordzilla lined-up alongside Porsche24 Redline, and Red Bull Racing Esports battled against BWT Racing Point Esports.

Porsche24 Redline and the BMW Motorsport SIM Racing Team each added three points to their total, meaning Porsche knocked Williams off the top of the V10 R-League standings to take the current lead in the inaugural season.

Kevin Siggy, racing for BMW, was named the fastest driver of the day. Meanwhile, Red Bull’s Graham Carroll put in some of the most impressive on-track performances, both in head-to-head and team
race competition, with his entertaining overtaking manoeuvres including his excellent drive in the first two corners of the team race, moving up from fifth to third.

Highlights of the third round of the V10 R-League, at the Nordschleife, will be broadcast on Monday 21 September at 7pm (UK time) on BT Sport 2, with all of the action free to view again on btsport.com and via the BT Sport App the next day.

ESPN will be carrying the content across its networks and platforms, with STARZPLAY Arabia coverage also available during Season 1.

Rachel Stringer, Nicolas Hamilton and Ben Daly host the shows from the Gfinity Arena based in London. All drivers compete from home on a full racing rig, ultimately for the £100,000 prize pool.
