Live sim racing is back with V10 R-League Finals to take place in Abu Dhabi on July 22nd and July 23rd

The third season of the V10 R-League has been packed with high-octane action, as ten of the best teams in sim-racing have battled it out for a place in the live finals, a share of the £100,000 prize pool and the prestigious title of 2022 V10 R-League Champion.

After five exhilarating weeks, the business end of the season is fast approaching and, for the first time ever, the tournament will culminate in a two-day live final at Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi, supported by Miral and Etihad. Drivers from four of the world’s leading sim-racing teams – Team Redline; Yas Heat; R8G Esports; and Mercedes – will be battling it out in person, as they take to the stage at Yas Mall, marking the return of live LAN competitive SIM racing.

The live finals will act as the finale of Yas Gaming Month which is expected to attract tens of thousands of gamers. As part of the live event, the drivers will also be competing in a V10 Karting showdown on the Yas Marina karting track and testing their driving skills on the world famous Yas Marina racetrack. 

Inaugural Series Champions Team Redline, backed by reigning F1 World Champion Max Verstappen, earned themselves automatic qualification with some outstanding performances in the Group Stages. As did local Abu Dhabi team, Yas Heat, who will now benefit from the advantage of a passionate home crowd. 

R8G Esports and debutants Mercedes also booked their spot at the live finals after an adrenaline-fuelled Wildcard round, knocking out Aston Martin and Williams Esports respectively.

Extensive coverage of every race will also be aired on BT Sport as part of its bumper weekend of sport with the Grand Final broadcasted live and uninterrupted before the highly anticipated UFC London. And fans around the world can tune into the live finals on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and participating team channels.
